Jiaxipera , a company of Chinese origin, announced its arrival in Coahuila with the aim of increasing its production levels and serving the North American market in a more personalized way.
The plant, which will be located in the Davisa Industrial Park in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe, will help produce six million compressors for household refrigerators per year.
This project required an investment of 60 million dollars and will produce 600 new jobs directly , so it will be one of the largest to be developed in the state, said Claudio Bres Garza, head of the Ministry of Economy .
Likewise, the official stressed that outsiders see the entity as one of the best destinations to invest due to the strategic advantages it offers, such as qualified labor, quality of life and rule of law.
“So far in 2023, 19 new investment projects have been completed and more than 20,000 jobs have been generated, according to figures provided by the Mexican Social Security Institute. This commits us to continue promoting strategies that attract more foreign investors,” said Bres Garza.
For his part, Haidong Jiang, general manager of the company in Ramos Arizpe, argued that relations between China and Mexico are strengthened with this type of project.
He said that the country stands out for being in the top 5 countries with the highest production of household appliances , so they hope to consolidate in the region and continue with more investment projects in future years.
“We are very proud to be able to be in this place. This new factory will allow us to be close to other companies with which we have a relationship and also to be able to count on qualified labor, since we need specialized engineers. We cannot be more excited to reach the middle of the year and be able to start operations; however, in 2024 we hope that we will already be able to count on massive production”, concluded the manager.
