Guanajuato

March 21, 2026

The PESMA Supplier Forum was held at Centro de Convenciones La Casona with the goal of strengthening the industrial supply chain in San Miguel de Allende by directly connecting anchor companies with local and regional suppliers.

Strategic linkage between companies and suppliers

The event brought together seven anchor companies from Polígono Empresarial San Miguel (PESMA), which held meetings with nearly 80 suppliers interested in joining their production processes. These types of business matchmaking dynamics make it possible to identify new opportunities and strengthen local sourcing in key sectors.

The forum created a direct interaction space where suppliers presented their specialized products and services, opening the door to new commercial relationships and the consolidation of stronger value chains across the region.

PESMA strengthens the regional industrial ecosystem

The event confirms PESMA’s role as a relevant player in business articulation by promoting collaboration between large industries and supplier companies, helping improve the competitiveness of the productive environment.

Initiatives like this contribute to reducing dependence on external inputs while boosting local economic development. They also encourage the professionalization of suppliers seeking to align with more demanding industrial standards.

San Miguel de Allende’s industrial dynamism is reflected in its ability to bring together multiple stakeholders in a single space, facilitating information exchange, partnership building, and the identification of new business opportunities.

With this forum, the regional industrial ecosystem continues moving toward greater integration, at a time when stronger links between companies and suppliers are becoming essential to meet market demands and take advantage of nearshoring opportunities in Mexico.
