Nuevo Leon in top 5 export entities

According to data from INEGI, Nuevo Leon
highlights in fourth place of the entity’s list that export the most. The State has sales of about 32,187,302
thousand dollars a year, being the manufacturing and mining sectors the ones
that contributed the most to this action.
Based on the information of the Institute, the manufacture of transportation equipment concentrates the highest sales to the exterior with 12.283.081 dollars; while the manufacture of accessories, electric devices and equipment of electric energy generation exports 5.649.793 dollars per year.
Edmundo Gonzalez Herrera, international promoter of ProMexico, assured that taking the products of Mexican companies outside the national territory increases productivity of companies.
“The export service has great benefits such as the increase in sales volume, access a new markets, a better use of the installed production capability, the strengthening of competitiveness of quality and price of products, as well as the generation of jobs,” said Gonzalez Herrera.
The action of export requires companies making
changes, forces them to innovate to improve the way of doing things and
products’ quality, therefore it is necessary getting out of the comfort
zone. The expert said that it is
important to observe which strategies other sellers fulfill to know with which
differences compete.
He underlined that ProMexico provides advisory
for those looking to incur in exportation, it supports companies placing them
in international fairs for them to promote their products; organizing business
wheels where a gathering is made with potential buyers; they also facilitate
the economic support to help them transporting to fairs and pay warehouses
outside.
Chihuahua is the entity that keeps at front with exports of 43.342.067 dollars per year; then there is Coahuila with 37.639.775 dollars; and Baja California with sales of 35.997.279 dollars per year. According to data from INEGI, Mexico had exports of 420.501.791 dollars per year.
