Metso begins construction of its third plant in Guanajuato

Metso  placed the first stone of its filter plant  in Irapuato, Guanajuato, which has an investment of 39.9 million dollars , and will be generating 70 new direct jobs.

This manufacturing complex will start the production of polymer for press filters in the second half of 2024. It should be noted that polymer plates are the core of filter technology, a business with great growth potential.

Likewise, this Finnish company has been a benchmark in the creation of sustainable technologies, solutions and end-to-end services for the aggregates, mineral processing and metal refining industries worldwide.

For Metso , this is its third plant in Irapuato, Guanajuato. In the first factory they produce components with rubber: rubber and poly-met; haul truck bed liners; wear liners; mill linings , among other implements. While in the second complex they produce steel mesh; wire mesh; polyclean; polyurethane screen panel and rubber screen panel .

Metso  is a global company, as it is present in more than 50 countries, where it employs more than 14,000 people.

At this event, Metso executives were present , who thanked the state and municipal authorities for their support for developing this project that contributes to strengthening the economic and social development of Guanajuato.
