Logistics leader DHL Supply Chain has officially launched its new Mega Campus within the TMex Park, strategically positioned along the burgeoning industrial corridor adjacent to the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA). Spanning more than 60,000 square meters, the high-capacity facility is engineered to optimize storage, cargo handling, and fulfillment operations across commercial and industrial supply chains.
The multi-million-dollar distribution hub will also serve as a major catalyst for the local labor market, projecting the creation of approximately 600 formal jobs focused on inventory management, advanced warehousing, and specialized logistics execution.
Strategic Proximity to AIFA and Regional Logistics Hub
During the inauguration ceremony, Laura González, Secretary of Economic Developmentfor the State of Mexico, emphasized that the region's unmatched connectivity and modern industrial infrastructure continue to attract top-tier global logistics investments.
- AIFA Air Cargo Integration: The proximity to AIFA is a core competitive advantage, given that the international airport currently handles roughly one-third of the country's total air freight.
- Multimodal Connectivity: Direct access to major highway networks and airport infrastructure facilitates seamless transit between fulfillment centers, regional distribution points, and major consumer markets.
- Robust Industry Ecosystem: The State of Mexico concentrates over 3,000 economic units dedicated to transportation, warehousing, and distribution, collectively employing more than 760,000 professionals.
The integration of this state-of-the-art mega facility significantly strengthens DHL Supply Chain's national distribution network, offering enhanced agility for companies navigating Mexico's expanding cross-border and domestic commerce landscape.
