The Aeroclúster de Querétaro participated in the sector dialogue sessions convened as part of Mexico’s consultation process ahead of the upcoming review of the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA), reaffirming the aerospace industry’s interest in preserving certainty for trade, investment, and regional integration.

The sessions brought together representatives from more than 30 industrial sectors across the country to identify opportunities to improve the treaty’s implementation and discuss the main challenges Mexican companies face in regional trade.

Aeroclúster de Querétaro Brings the Aerospace Industry’s Perspective

Through its participation, the Aeroclúster de Querétaro contributed the perspective of one of Mexico’s most strategic manufacturing industries. The aerospace sector depends heavily on regulatory clarity, technical coordination, and efficient cross-border trade conditions, making the review of the agreement especially relevant for companies operating in North American supply chains.

By taking part in these discussions, the cluster helped ensure that the concerns and priorities of aerospace companies are represented in a process that will influence the future of regional competitiveness.

USMCA Review and the Need for Trade Certainty

For Mexico’s productive sector, continuity of the USMCA remains essential. The agreement provides the certainty needed to sustain investment decisions, support long-term planning, and strengthen the supply chains that connect Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

From an industrial standpoint, the review process also creates an opportunity to improve implementation of the treaty while maintaining a balanced approach based on technical criteria, proportionality, and reciprocity among the three member countries.

Querétaro’s Aerospace Ecosystem in a Strategic Conversation

The participation of the Aeroclúster de Querétaro reflects the importance of Querétaro within Mexico’s aerospace landscape. The state has built a strong ecosystem supported by manufacturing capabilities, supplier networks, specialized talent, and institutional coordination.

In that context, having the cluster involved in national consultation tables reinforces the relevance of Querétaro’s aerospace industry in broader trade and industrial policy discussions.

A Relevant Space for Industry Dialogue

The consultation process also underscores the value of direct dialogue between government and the productive sector. For the aerospace industry, these spaces make it possible to bring operational realities into the discussion and contribute to a more effective implementation framework for regional trade.

By participating in the consultation, the Aeroclúster de Querétaro reaffirmed its role as a representative voice for an industry that remains central to Mexico’s manufacturing future and North American integration.
