Querétaro has consolidated its position as one of the most attractive states for foreign direct investment (FDI), reporting 10.5% growth in the second quarter of the year with an inflow of USD 970 million, placing it in the national top 5. This figure reflects the confidence of both domestic and global companies in the state’s productive environment.

Querétaro Showcases Competitive Advantages

During the Economic Promotion and Investment Attraction Forum, participants highlighted the competitive advantages and productive strengths of each region in the country. For Querétaro, its leadership in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and information technologies keeps it as a strategic reference point in nearshoring and investment relocation processes.

The state was recognized by investors and private sector leaders as a hub with high industrial potential, thanks to its geographic location, skilled workforce, and supplier ecosystem.

Business Confidence and Industrial Ecosystem

Participants agreed that the arrival of foreign capital should not be limited to new projects, but integrated into a sustainable industrial ecosystem capable of delivering direct benefits to communities and strengthening value chains. The current focus is on attracting investments that foster innovation, technological development, and stronger business linkages.

“Mexico does not compete state against state; we compete as a nation against other markets. And if we play united, no one can beat us,” emphasized Marco Antonio del Prete.

Public-Private Alliance to Boost Competitiveness

During the forum, the Mexican Business Council (CCE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation between the private sector and economic development institutions. The agreement seeks to enhance competitiveness, boost investment attraction, and secure long-term productive growth for the country.
