Nuevo León adds US$300 million investment with new Doosan Bobcat plant

The start of operations of Doosan Bobcat’s first plant in Latin America, located in Nuevo León, marks the consolidation of one of the company’s most relevant industrial projects in the region, as part of its growth strategy across the continent.

Carlos del Castillo, plant operations director, highlighted that the facility is part of the company’s global manufacturing footprint, aimed at strengthening its production capabilities and serving customer demand over the long term. The company was recognized with the Invest Award during the most recent Invest Monterrey assembly.

“From the beginning, we have been impressed by the professionalism, talent and deep sense of community we have experienced here. The warm welcome from local leaders, partners and neighbors has made a real difference as we establish our operations,” he said.

Del Castillo attributed the plant’s start of operations to the conditions Nuevo León offers in terms of human capital and industrial environment. “Equally important, this plant reflects our commitment to investing in people and building strong, lasting relationships in the communities where we operate,” he said.
