In Aguascalientes there are 19 industrial parks that house around 500 companies, about half are installed in the eight public parks managed by the Industrial Development Trust (FDIA), attached to the Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedec), which contribute to the positioning of the state as an attractive destination to invest.

Manuel Alejandro González Martínez, Secretary of Economic Development, pointed out that industrial activity and economic growth in Aguascalientes have their starting point in the work of each of the companies and an important part to achieve the results obtained are the spaces that offer the adequate infrastructure for optimum productive performance.

The industrial zone of the hydro-warm capital installed its first park in 1976, with the passage of time 10 more parks were added representing a territorial space of approximately 800 hectares.

With the growth in the automotive industry that the entity has reflected in recent years, the industrial infrastructure has presented an increase in territory, due to the demand for suppliers required by companies such as Nissan, Bosch, Continental, among others.

So the state increased its industrial territory to 1,920 hectares and 9 other industrial and / or technological parks were developed.
