Forum Commercial Real Estate participated in the 4th International Automotive Industry Supply Summit 2026 in Querétaro, a business-focused forum that gathered automotive manufacturers, suppliers, integrators, and decision-makers from across the industry’s value chain. The event took place May 6–7 at the Querétaro Centro de Congresos.

As part of the program, Carlo A. Molano, President of Forum Commercial Real Estate, addressed OEMs and suppliers with the presentation “The New Inland Empire – Port Laredo,” placing Laredo’s industrial and logistics market within the conversation on automotive distribution growth and North American supply chain strategy.

The summit was designed to connect companies involved in automotive supply, procurement, integration, and business development. Its 2026 edition was expected to generate significant commercial activity, with participation from thousands of suppliers and buyers across the sector.

By framing Port Laredo as “The New Inland Empire,” Forum CRE connected the region’s logistics profile with the type of industrial expansion taking place around high-volume distribution markets. For automotive suppliers, proximity to the U.S.-Mexico border, access to trade routes, and availability of industrial space are increasingly important factors in operational planning.
